Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was very special.  Nothing is more exciting than seeing what your two beautiful boys look like and the anticipation of another one on the way.  I am so blessed to be the mother of these two boys.  They are the center of my world.

Happy Easter

Garon turns 3!

Garon is in love with dinosaurs right now so it was a no-brainer to have this dino-mite party! We decided to have his party at 10 am and will never do that again.  I had to wake this little guy up at 9:50 am when I realized that he might not be up for his own party.

You really enjoyed your party.  All your friends came and you had a blast.  We filled up the sandbox.  Hid dinosaur eggs and you got to find them.  Beth volunteered her time to come and face paint all the kids faces.  Tattoos were given.  And lots of food and cake.

You are a hoot at the age 3! You say anything and everything and it's hilarious.  You make us laugh all the time.  You are spoiled rotten.  You are still a wonderful little boy.  You still suck your thumb at night and I still think it's precious.  You like to grab shirts, it's like your security blanket.  You ask dad for his white shirt each night. You willingly moved into your brothers room and now have a big boy twin size bed.  It makes me sad.  I know that I tend to treat you like you're one because it's hard for me to believe how fast you are growing up.  You have the perfect balance of personality...you are purely wild at times and calm at others.  Love that you can run around and have a crazy time, yet can sit perfectly still at the movie theatre.

You have a really terrible attitude right now when you want your way.  Everyone blames that one on me.  :)  You talk a lot and ask a ton of questions.  That one gets blamed on me to.  Mom says I was the same way.

You fit right in and we love everything about you.  You bring so many smiles and laughter to us daily.  Love watching you grow!

Love you Garon!!

We're Pregnant!

It was just a year ago in June when we went to Gaston's to celebrate 6 years together.  I was so excited to spend an evening together since it is so rare when we do.

I know how we always say "no gifts" but I get you one every time anyways. I was so happy to surprise you with your new Oakley's that you talked about all the time. (and glad I did because you look really good in them).
I just knew that I was being so sly by sneaking you a gift in, and thought only I would think of that.  But, you surprised me.  Which NEVER happens.  You placed this box in front of me.  I had really been wanting this ring...begging actually.  I just think plain simple bands are beautiful.  And then, you made this beautiful, simple band, mean so much more.  You told me there were five diamonds on this band.  One for each member of our family....

This meant so much to me.  He knew I wanted 3 kids.  Now when I wear this ring, it means so much more to me.  And where is this story going....

On March 17, 2013, we found out that we are expecting our third child. Words cannot express how overcome with joy we are to be expecting.

We are so happy that another child is apart of God's plan for us.

Grady turns 6!

Writing this post makes me SO sad.  It is so hard to believe that my baby Grady is already 6! :(  but since he was turning 6 I have to say this simple party was by far one of my favorites.  It was the first party where Grady got to invite all  his friends from school.  That excited him.  He was so happy because he got lucky enough to have it in the big gym! He just thought that was the coolest thing ever!

He wanted a Razorback party! Everyone at the party found a place to have a game...and let me just say this family is a "little" competitive when it comes to sports.

Except these two...these two girls are sweet.  :)
Loved this pic of Grady, Kaden, and Peyton.  Wish I heard what they were saying.

And here is my cute sweet birthday boy! He is showing off his new watch and hat.  (and seeing his ice cream cake makes me want some and it's only 8 in the morning).
 Opening time!

Look at him fanning his money.  He plans to save it all for a dirt bike.

He also got to take these amazing Hog cookies from the Cake shop to school for his friends.

Grady,
You truly amaze me every day.  You are definitely all boy! It has been sad but so sweet seeing you in the halls at school with me each day.  I never thought the day would come.  You have amazed me with how well you are at so many things...and I guess I am bragging here....but I believe a lot of it is how hard you work at all things.  When your daddy teaches you something new at baseball, you listen, and practice, and practice some more.  At school, you are doing awesome! Reading all these books and coming home and telling me about them.  You love non-fiction WAY more than fiction.
You have one of the biggest hearts.  Always thinking of others.  If we go to McDonalds in the morning or stop at the store, then you HAVE to get Mrs. Adams something.  I love that you are always thinking of others.
I always tell you that's why God gave me you first.  You have the most tolerable patience for your brother.  You help him, you read with him, play with him, teach him, and most importantly truly love on him.  You worry about him constantly and let me know immediately if he's doing something he shouldn't.  You are the BEST big brother that Garon could ever have.
We are so proud of you Grady.  We love you all the way around the universe and back!

Christmas 2012

So behind on blogging, but I really wanted to have our memories down of Christmas time.

Gus the elf came this year (of course he had to have a G name also) and we had a lot of fun with him.  I picked out a couple of pics of the boys favorite things that Gus did.
Gus playing Go Fish with Jingles and Mr. Giraffe

Gus was amazing at coloring

he got into the beads

yum...even Gus likes the cake shop

Gus loves to hunt

licking the icing...just like the boys

guess he got cold and wanted a hat also

singing and playing to his friends...look at that crowd

We made a chain that the boys could countdown the days till Christmas! They loved doing this!
I wrapped a ton of Christmas stories so that we could read one every night before Christmas.  Loved seeing their anticipation and Grady really tried to convince Garon which one each night.
Nini took us to ride The Polar Express.  The boys loved it so much.  We got to see Santa and the scary hobo!
The boys also got their letters from Santa in the mail.  Grady is so funny about these.  He gets so excited!!!

Dan has been singing at the Christmas program for a couple of years now.  Since Grady started K, Dan asked him to join him and the band.  Grady is usually pretty shy when it comes to things like this, so I was happy to see him up there!

 Someone looks guilty....but he wasn't.
Christmas with the Davis family....what a mess.
Christmas morning at my moms.  Brett let Garon sit on his lap the whole time.  Garon is his buddy.
 The whole gang.
 Someone got a DS!
Grady got a scooter...(and oh this scares me)! He wants it especially for when we go camping.
Garon and Ella stole the boys phones and headphones and you can tell they are trying to figure it all out.  They sat here about an hour listening to music.
Love this pic of Garon and Evan.
Grady got a bike from Papa and Grandma!
Another wonderful Christmas we had!  So glad I got this blog done before Christmas 2013! :)
