Grady & Garon

Tonight was fun! We all went outside to play.  Grady is getting ready for t-ball so Dan and him went to practice.  I immediately turned the whole practice into a photo shoot.

I love this picture. They are so cute!

I wanted a picture with my boys.  Dan told Grady to smile.  This is how that turned out.
Dan again told Grady to smile.  This is how it turned out.
 And finally he smiles!
 Garon's turn!

And now the three of us.

Garon already likes baseball like his brother and I got some great pictures!

Mother's Day

I love love love Mother's Day! I am so thankful that I have two precious boys.  But before I talk about my own boys I want to start off by saying thanks to my mom.  Happy Mother's Day to you Mom!  I love you! You have taught me so much in life.  I love how you keep us together by constantly planning things where we can all hang out.  You are such a strong person and I admire you dearly.  Mom headed off to San Fransisco so we didn't get to celebrate with her on this day...her pics will have to come later.

For my Mother's Day, I woke up to beautiful yellow roses, a wonderful card, and a new bracelet.  I loved everything.  :) We headed to Flippin for the day.  The boys were wonderful during the church service.  Garon ate up all the attention he was getting from the row behind us.  It was a gorgeous day and we took full advantage by spending the entire afternoon outdoors.

I was really wanting to get a picture of the boys.  This one is priceless...Garon really hates his feet touching the grass.

Papa got us a log to sit on so round two was much better!!

Words cannot express how much I love these two boys.  I thank God for them daily! I still find myself staring at them in disbelief that they are really mine.  I want you both to stay this little forever.  Since I know that isn't possible I hope that I do a good job at training you both in the way you should go.  From a book written by Gene Fidele she writes, "Home is, in many wonderful ways, a heaven begun below."  I love that and I want to raise my boys in a Christian home, so they get a tiny glimpse of heaven while on earth.
Gram and the boys.  This is another lady that I am very thankful for.  I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful mother in law.  Karen takes care of me just like I am her own.  Like for instance, when Dan goes out of town...they know I'm coming over!! I love that they don't mind that I don't like to stay by myself! :-)
Papa didn't get one second to himself on this day.  He always had a buddy right beside him.

Meet Evan Ross Benton.  The newest member of our family.  Isn't he precious? What a wonderful Mother's Day gift Gwen got.

Papa ended up giving lots of hair cuts on this day.  Daddy got one, Uncle Jeff, Grady, and even Luke! :)

Thanks again Grady and Garon for giving me another wonderful Mother's Day to remember always.  Thank you Daniel for helping make it so special.

Little Taste of Summer

There has been so much going on lately that I haven't had time to stop and write it all down.  Two weekends ago I attended the Women of Joy conference with a group of ladies from work.  It was amazing as usual.  We got to see Casting Crowns in concert- and that was the best thing ever!! Daniel stayed home with the boys.  He sent me pictures regularly and kept me updated the whole weekend.  They all really missed me (I think Dan the most). Somehow he even managed to pick up the house before I got home.  It felt great to come home to a clean house and just relax.
Last weekend we got a little taste of summer.  Aunt Staci called us and asked if we wanted to participate in a water balloon fight.  Of course we said yes.  Grady is obsessed with Keaton.  He thinks he hung the moon. :) Thankfully Taci had all the balloons filled up with water by the time we arrived.  Garon and I took front row seats on a blanket under a tent.  The kids had a blast and so did the adults.

I discovered that we need to invest in a trampoline.  Garon thinks it is so fun!  A little bounce and he laughs out loud.  Cutest thing ever.  Here Garon is having a ball and Grady keeps repeating, "Mom, Hey Mom, Will you please get Garon off this thing, I just want to jump."

Thought this picture was too sweet not to post.  Garon is giving kisses to Uncle Scott.
